FTI SUPERNOVA 2024
Our comeback
After an unwanted hiatus during the pandemic, SuperNova returned bigger, better, and bolder in 2024. We celebrated as part of the Flanders Technology & Innovation Festival with a dynamic two-day event for tech entrepreneurs, investors and innovation enthusiasts.
With 114 speakers across 6 stages, the atmosphere was electric with inspiration. Highlights included keynote addresses from Beth Davies, who shared her insights on fostering a culture of innovation from her tenure at Tesla and Apple; best-selling author Tom Rath, who offered a fresh perspective on career, life, and your own impact; and astronaut Charlie Duke, one of only 12 individuals to have set foot on the moon.
We proudly welcomed 3,841 visitors and 226 investors from 15 countries, who brought €28.240 million in dry powder. With over 2,000 meetings arranged by hundreds of entrepreneurs, innovators and investors, it’s safe to say that SuperNova 2024 was a networking paradise, and a hotspot for securing funding. We even designed the country’s longest bar to enable and accelerate connections.
The talks and pitches covered a wide array of industries, including climate technology, SaaS, mobility and logistics, AI, software, HR, fintech, e-commerce, health and even legaltech. With such a diverse range of topics and speakers, there was a little something for everybody. As we all came together to discuss technology, people, money, purpose, culture and entrepreneurship it was abundantly clear once again: tomorrow truly is unstoppable!
