The first edition
The first edition of the SuperNova technology and future festival took place from September 27-30, 2018 and consisted of two parts: a professional summit and an open-to-all festival.
At the professional summit, we hosted 47 world-class and local speakers, 50 promising scale-ups, 185 national and international VC’s and welcomed over 4,000 visitors to explore the Business of Tomorrow. Notable speakers included global best-selling author Seth Godin, Shazam founder Philip Inghelbrecht, and Twitter co-founder Biz Stone.
The SuperNova festival offered a one-of-a-kind, immersive experience, sparking curiosity and showcasing innovative ideas and technologies to over 30,000 visitors. We partnered with more than 140 companies to organise over 120 interactive demonstrations across 16 locations.
SuperNova 2018 received extensive media coverage both within Belgium and internationally, setting the stage for the festival to become a prominent name in the tech and innovation landscape.
