Bart Becks

Bart Becks is a Belgian tech pioneer and entrepreneur. He is the founder of Genisys, an accelerator focused on AI. Bart also serves on the board of the European Innovation Council (EIC), Europe’s flagship innovation program for developing and scaling breakthrough technologies and game-changing innovations.

He previously served as CEO of Skynet (now part of Proximus) and as Chairman of iMinds (now part of IMEC). In recent years, Bart was Executive Chairman of EURACTIV, a media network active in 12 countries that was recently acquired by Mediahuis. Over the course of his career, he has supported numerous initiatives and startups, and co-founded the Brussels tech hub BeCentral.
