Bert Bruggeman is a technology commercialization executive, leadership coach, and trusted partner to innovators on a mission to create a more sustainable world. With over 30 years of experience, Bert has worked with world-class companies in semiconductors, solar energy, robotics, EVs, and sustainable construction, including Cypress/Infineon, Tesla, SunEdison, Kindred and Biomason. From his early career at IMEC in Belgium to his time in Silicon Valley, Bert has been a key player in bringing cutting-edge technologies to market. He has held roles from engineer to C-suite leader and now runs Gefira Solutions, an international innovation advisory firm. Bert is also the Chairman of The Ocean Cleanup, a Netherlands-based NGO dedicated to removing plastic from the oceans and rivers.
