Charlotte Matthys

Charlotte Matthys is the founder of NONA Drinks, a Belgian company established in 2018 that crafts premium non-alcoholic spirits. Her journey began with a childhood passion for creating drinks from herbs she collected, which evolved into a professional pursuit.

In 2017, Charlotte completed her studies as a bioscience engineer. The idea for NONA June, a non-alcoholic alternative to gin, originated during a midsummer evening when she sought a less sweet, non-alcoholic option for her favourite cocktails. This led her to experiment with herbs and botanicals, resulting in the creation of NONA June.

NONA Drinks offers a range of non-alcoholic spirits, including NONA June, NONA Spritz, and NONA Ginger, each crafted from a blend of natural ingredients. The company has received international recognition, with its products being served in Michelin-starred restaurants in Belgium.
