Dewi never stops asking why.

Why does technology drive people instead of the other way around? How can we use technology for a better life? Why do inclusiveness and ethics disappear as soon as the doors of the boardrooms close?

She pleads for ethics in tech, sustainable business and more diversity in tech. You can find her on the panel of the podcast Tech45, with the event The Ada Talks, in several boards of directors, and in the government’s advisory group for technology education. Dewi is all in, for as long as it takes.

Experiencing first hand what it's like to be a woman in Tech, she dedicated herself to change the current male dominated field of STEM.

Dewi actively creates awareness and educates people on the importance of diversity in STEM and how to change this pattern.

She is a role model for other girls and woman and is committed to many different projects to support this cause.

In 2020 Dewi founded The Ada Talks together with Nele Van Beveren and Valerie Taerwe. The Ada Talks is a 3-monthly network event for women in tech by women in tech.
