Frank Mathys

Frank Mathys is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at DPG Media, where he leads the IT and Broadcast technology teams.

Frank began his journey with DPG Media's TV activities in early 2003, starting at VTM as the IT manager responsible for the business applications, the ERP system, and general IT infrastructure. By 2006, he expanded his role to include responsibility of the playout operations of TV, guiding VTM's transition to a full HD and file-based operation with advanced automation.

In 2009, Frank took on the position of Technical Director for TV & Radio operations at DPG Media in Belgium. In this role, he supervised production activities, broadcast operations, ICT, building/studio technology, and all related investment projects.

By late 2019, Frank became part of the DPG Media BE-NE IT Directors team, focusing on core infrastructure, cloud migration, security, and group IT governance.

Since November 2023, Frank has held the position of CTO of DPG Media Group, responsible for all business IT platforms, core IT platforms, broadcast technology, and IT governance.

Prior to joining DPG Media, Frank worked as a consultant at Arthur Andersen and later at Deloitte in the Telecoms & Media industry. His expertise focused on technology strategy and cost models, both locally in Belgium and on international assignments.
