Marc Raisière

Marc Raisière is a Belgian executive renowned for his leadership in the banking and insurance sectors. He obtained his Licentiate in Mathematical Sciences in 1985 and his Licentiate in Actuarial Sciences in 1987, both from the Université catholique de Louvain.

Raisière's career began at Fortis AG, where he held the position of Technical and Operational Director for Life and Non-Life insurance from 1996 to 1999. In 1999, he joined AXA Belgium as a member of the Executive Committee and later became a member of the Management Board of AXA Bank Belgium. Between 2009 and 2012, he was a member of the Executive Committee of AXA France, serving as General Manager of AXA France Solutions and AXA Private Management, and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AXA Bank France.

In 2012, Raisière transitioned to Belfius, initially serving as CEO of Belfius Insurance. By 2014, he was appointed CEO of Belfius Bank, a position he continues to hold.

Under his leadership, Belfius has achieved record profits and strengthened its position in the Belgian banking sector.

In recognition of his contributions, Raisière was named Manager of the Year in 2016.
