Pieter Van Bouwel

Pieter is a master in Economics and Data Science, and worked for 10 years as a data science consultant for different companies in a wide range of industries.
In 2020, Pieter switched careers and started as lead data scientist at Port of Antwerp in the Data & Analytics team. A team who’s building on the road towards a data-driven organisation.
Today, Pieter is the Data Science Teamlead and manages a motivated team of internal and external data scientist, working on the evangelisation, development and deployment of AI and data science solutions within the organisation.
