Tim Vandecasteele

Tim Vandecasteele is a civil engineer and software developer. In 2013, together with Joris Van Der Gucht, he founded Silverfin, a comprehensive software platform for accounting firms. Ten years later, they sold the company, which by then had more than 200 employees and a revenue of 34 million euros, to Visma. After the exit, Tim felt the urge to fully dive back into programming. Experienced and a bit disillusioned with how traditional accounting firms operate, he teamed up with Domien Claeys to create a plan to establish the accounting firm of the future, powered by brand new software developed by him. He is the founder of Die van de boekhouding.
