Jakob Lorré is the founder of Cyclowax, a Belgian company that has revolutionized how cyclists maintain their chains. By making hot waxing accessible to every sport cyclist, Cyclowax offers a clean, efficient, and low-maintenance alternative to traditional oil-based lubrication. Since its launch in 2022, more than 150,000 cyclists have made the switch—including pro teams, who are now adopting waxed chains for their superior performance and durability.

Before Cyclowax, Jakob founded Well Played, a video company specializing in one-minute animation videos that simplify complex topics. Under his leadership, the company grew from zero to 15 employees before he successfully sold it in 2021.

Jakob discovered his passion for cycling in 2019 and quickly became hooked. With a strong focus on innovation and performance, he is determined to transform the way cyclists approach bike maintenance—making it cleaner, easier, and more efficient than ever before.
