Maura Nachtergaele

Maura Nachtergaele is the CEO and co-founder of Payflip, a Belgian HR tech startup established in 2020. Payflip offers a platform that enables SMEs to provide employees with personalised and tax-optimised salary packages.

Before founding Payflip, Maura worked as a tax lawyer at an international law firm in Brussels. Her experiences there inspired her to develop innovative solutions for employee compensation.

Under her leadership, Payflip has secured over €1 million in funding from investors such as Smartfin, imec.istart, KBC, and PMV. The company serves more than 400 clients, providing personalised salary packages to approximately 10,000 employees.

Maura has been recognised for her entrepreneurial achievements, being nominated as a finalist for the 'Belofte van het Jaar' (Promise of the Year) award.
