1. Application of General Terms and Conditions
- These terms apply to all activities (festival and related events) linked to SuperNova 2026, organized by Scale-Ups.eu NV (Walemstraat 20, 2860 Sint-Katelijne-Waver, België, BE0704873858.
- Any registration, booking, reservation, or payment by the Customer implies explicit, unconditional, and irrevocable acceptance of these terms by the Customer and anyone on whose behalf they act.
- The latest version is always available at www.supernovafest.eu/terms-conditions.
- SuperNova may amend/update these terms at any time; changes will be announced on the website and, if relevant, by email.
- These terms do not affect mandatory consumer protection laws.
2. Reservations and Registrations
- Only registrations/bookings via the SuperNova website are accepted unless otherwise agreed.
- Orders are irrevocable unless SuperNova gives prior written consent for changes.
- SuperNova may refuse orders or limit the number of tickets per Customer.
- Registration requires full and correct completion of the online form.
- After full payment, the Customer receives a confirmation email.
- Customers may be required to create a networking profile via Brella to access the matchmaking.
- Each activity provides an e-ticket, which must be personalized (full name, email, mobile)
- Personalization must occur within the period specified in the confirmation email; otherwise, tickets may be canceled.
- If purchasing for others, the Customer is responsible for providing their data.
- Tickets are sent to the Visitor’s email after full payment.
- Visitors must check tickets for accuracy and report issues immediately.
- Entry requires a valid ticket and ID.
- Tickets grant access based on the ticket type and remain SuperNova’s property.
- Risk of loss/theft/damage passes to the Visitor upon ticket delivery; SuperNova is not liable for lost/damaged tickets.
- Replacement tickets may be refused or charged for at SuperNova’s discretion.
- Confirmed registrations are final; no cancellations or refunds unless required by law.
- With written approval, a Customer may transfer participation to another person.
- Tickets may not be resold or offered to third parties for commercial purposes.
- SuperNova may verify identity at entry and refuse access if not compliant.
3. Price and Payment
- Prices on the SuperNova website are exclusive of 21% VAT and stated in euros.
- Offers and prices are valid on the day of website visit or registration; they may change before registration.
- Information about events, tickets, and prices is provided as accurately as possible; SuperNova is not liable for inaccuracies.
- Additional costs (reservation, payment, shipping) may apply.
- Discounts are shown on the website, cannot be combined, and unlawfully obtained discounts will be reclaimed.
- Payment is only possible via SuperNova’s online payment system.
- Unless otherwise stated, catering/lunch/drinks are included in the price.
- Late arrival or early departure does not entitle the Visitor to reimbursement or compensation.
- Cashless payments are the default at activities; other payment methods may be allowed at SuperNova’s discretion.
- SuperNova is not liable if the cashless payment system fails; a backup system may be provided.
- Cashless payment systems are governed by separate terms, which must be accepted by the Visitor at first use.
4. Changes to and/or Cancellation of an Activity
- SuperNova may change the program before or during the activity; adverse consequences will be limited as much as possible.
- No compensation or reimbursement is due for such changes.
- SuperNova may reschedule or cancel the activity for organizational, security, force majeure, or other compelling reasons.
- SuperNova may:
- Cancel or postpone the activity (partly or entirely)
- Interrupt or stop the activity
- Inspect vehicles
- Temporarily keep or evacuate visitors
- Deny access regardless of ticket possession
- Change the program or content
- Customers will be informed by email if such situations occur before the activity.
- If canceled before the start, the Customer is reimbursed for the ticket price (no further compensation).
- If canceled after the start, compensation is only as required by law and never exceeds the ticket price.
- If rescheduled, tickets remain valid for the new date.
- If unable to attend the new date, the Visitor may request a refund (excluding shipping/transaction fees) within the period set by SuperNova.
- Refunds are only made as indicated by SuperNova; no other damages or expenses are reimbursed.
5. Copyright and Intellectual Property
- All intellectual property rights are reserved by SuperNova.
- Customers may not copy/reproduce any SuperNova brands, documents, images, or materials without prior written consent.
- Ticket purchase does not grant any license or right to SuperNova’s intellectual property.
6. Liability
- Visitors attend at their own risk.
- Except as required by law, SuperNova is not liable for any damage to property or persons in connection with participation.
- Liability is limited to direct damage resulting from SuperNova’s error, excluding indirect damages, and up to the amount covered by insurance.
- For minors, the Customer must provide all necessary information for safe participation.
7. Rules of Conduct and House Rules
- SuperNova may verify identity and age for compliance and legal reasons.
- By registering or entering, Customers and Visitors agree to SuperNova’s rules of conduct and policies.
- Courtesy and respect are required; violations may result in immediate exclusion without reimbursement.
- SuperNova may search visitors at entry; refusal may result in denied admission.
- Prohibited items include: outside food/drinks, glassware, pets, chairs, stools, inflatables, umbrellas, selfie sticks, drugs, fireworks, weapons, dangerous objects, and professional recording equipment.
- Unauthorized items will be confiscated; refusal to surrender may result in denied entry.
- SuperNova is not liable for confiscated items; illegal items will be handed to police.
- Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.
- Fines imposed on SuperNova due to Visitor violations will be recovered from the Visitor.
8. Imagery
- By registering, Customers and Visitors accept that SuperNova may take photos or videos during activities for publicity purposes.
- Audio/visual recordings may be made by media partners for promotion.
- Visitors, crew or suppliers cannot record/reproduce the event for commercial purposes without written consent.
- Camera surveillance may occur for safety and security.
9. Privacy and GDPR
- SuperNova processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, especially GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679).

10. Applicable Law and Competent Court
- All agreements and disputes are governed exclusively by Belgian law.
- The courts of the judicial district of Antwerp, Antwerp Branch, have exclusive jurisdiction.
