Getting around in Antwerp
Let us bring you to the venue and back in our branded Polestars
To make your journey as smooth as possible, we’ve partnered once again with Polestar to offer an exclusive SuperNova Shuttle Service. Electric, comfortable, and stress-free — these shuttles will bring you straight from key parkings and selected hotels to the front door of Waagnatie.
This service is designed to remove friction: no searching for parking, no last-minute detours, just step in and arrive focused.
The full schedule and stops will be shared soon — we’ll update this page as soon as everything is confirmed
Hop on De Lijn — Antwerp’s easy city network
Antwerp’s buses and trams are run by De Lijn, and they’re one of the simplest ways to reach Waagnatie from Antwerpen-Centraal or around the city. From Central Station you can jump on:
- Tram 24 (to Havenhuis) — get off at Antwerpen London, then it’s about a 700 m walk to Waagnatie.
- Tram 7 (toward Eilandje) — get off at Antwerpen MAS, then it’s roughly a 350 m walk.
- Bus 17 — gets you to Felixpakhuis, around a 1 km walk.
How it works: Tickets can be bought via the De Lijn app (plan your trip, buy mobile tickets, get live times), at ticket machines at major stops, or directly on board where contactless payment is accepted. If in doubt, Google Maps travel planning works well too.
Rail in — direct, fast, and comfy to Antwerp
Your main rail hub is Antwerpen-Centraal — central, beautiful, and very well connected.
From within Belgium:
Belgian Rail tickets & planner: https://www.belgiantrain.be/en/
- From Brussels Airport (BRU): frequent direct trains run roughly every 30 minutes and take about 30 minutes to reach Antwerpen-Centraal.
- From Brussels city centre: trains depart regularly and take ~40 minutes.
- From other Belgian cities (Ghent, Bruges, Liège, etc.): just plug your origin into the Belgian Rail planner and book at https://www.belgiantrain.be/en/.
From abroad:
Eurostar tickets: https://www.eurostar.com/
- Eurostar doesn’t stop directly in Antwerp, but you can ride high-speed to Brussels-Midi and switch to a local NMBS/SNCB train from Brussels to Antwerpen-Centraal.
- International connections from Amsterdam, Paris, Cologne and beyond connect into Belgium’s rail network; just plan Brussels as your transfer point if needed.
Move how you like — wheels on demand
Antwerp’s city bike-share is a fantastic and eco choice. You can buy a day pass (€5) or week pass (€12) in the Velo app, unlock bikes at any of the many stations (including near Amsterdamstraat and Red Star Line), and return them at any other station when you’re done. Each ride is included up to 30 minutes per session — perfect for a quick cruise to Waagnatie.
Other rentals:
- Bike rentals (e-bikes, regular) via local services like Donkey Republic or Swapfiets — book through their apps and pick up close to Antwerp-Centraal.
- Electric scooters from providers like Bolt or Voi — find, unlock and pay via their apps; park responsibly when finished.
- Car rentals (Poppy, local agencies) give you full flexibility — just remember Waagnatie is inside Antwerp’s low-emission zone (LEZ).
Door-to-door — simple and stress-free
Taxis are everywhere in Antwerp — from stands (e.g., around Antwerp-Centraal) or via apps like Uber and local taxi apps. Just enter “Waagnatie, Rijnkaai 150, 2000 Antwerpen” as the destination and you’ll be dropped right at the venue entrance. This is one of the easiest options after trains or bikes if you’re carrying gear or prefer a private ride.
Coming by car? Plan smart.
Driving to SuperNova is possible — but it requires a bit of planning.
Due to ongoing construction works around Waagnatie, the large on-site parking at the venue will not be available during the event. If you’re coming by car, we strongly recommend deciding where to park in advance to avoid delays or last-minute stress.
What to expect:
- No public parking directly at Waagnatie
- Several alternative parkings will be available within reasonable distance
- From there, you’ll be able to continue by public transport, bike, taxi or shuttle
We’re currently finalising the best parking options for SuperNova visitors and will share clear recommendations shortly.
👉 Tip: if you want the smoothest arrival, consider combining parking with public transport, bike, or the SuperNova Shuttle Service.
Fly in, then hop on the train
If you’re flying into Brussels Airport (BRU), the fastest, easiest way to reach Antwerp is by train. Trains depart directly from the station below the airport terminals and reach Antwerpen-Centraal in about 30 minutes on direct services — with frequent departures throughout the day.
What to do:
- After landing, follow signs to the Train Station under the airport.
- Buy a ticket online in advance or at ticket machines; then board a direct train to Antwerpen-Centraal.
- From there, walk, use public transport (trams/bus), bike, taxi or scooter to reach Waagnatie.
If you prefer a taxi/Uber, they’re available curbside at the airport — quicker but more expensive.

At the heart of Europe
Belgium may be small, but it sits at the very heart of Europe — connected, accessible, and brimming with talent. Antwerp, our home base, is a historic hub of trade and innovation that continues to attract forward-looking minds from all over the world.
This is where global ideas meet local ingenuity — the perfect place to shoot for the moon.

The city of diamonds
has much to offer
Antwerp doesn’t try to impress. It just does. A global port city with a rebel soul, where medieval streets meet bold architecture, world-class fashion lives next to underground culture, and business lunches turn into late-night conversations. Whether you’re here for one day or three, the city rewards curiosity — and it does it effortlessly.
Iconic museums, striking architecture, and a creative scene that refuses to play safe.
From Michelin-starred dining to buzzing bars and local classics done right.
Everything is walkable, bikeable, and perfectly placed for spontaneous detours.
Blend in like a local
Belgians don’t shout to be heard. We observe, we listen, and we let trust grow before we open up. In Antwerp, that mindset mixes with creativity, commerce, and a healthy dose of self-awareness. Once you understand the unwritten rules, the city feels warm, sharp, and surprisingly generous.

Food, drinks & taking your time
Meals are moments, not fuel stops. Expect proper portions, real ingredients, and no rush to free the table. Beer is part of our heritage, not a party trick — served in the right glass, at the right pace. Enjoy it. Don’t chug it.
Politeness over performance
Belgians value calm, respectful interactions. We’re not big on small talk with strangers, but we’re sincere when we engage. Say hello when entering a shop. Say thank you when leaving. It sounds simple — it matters more than you think.
Modesty is a strength
Ambition is admired, bragging is not. Belgians respect what you do, not how loudly you talk about it. Let your work speak. Confidence is fine — subtle confidence is better.
Time = respect
Belgians plan ahead and value reliability. Meetings start on time. Being late without warning is considered careless, not casual. If you’re delayed, just send a message — that’s all it takes.
Money & tipping
Prices include service. Tipping is discreet, not performative. Rounding up or leaving a few euros is appreciated when service is excellent. Overdoing it feels uncomfortable — generosity here is quiet.
Languages & local flavour
Belgium is multilingual by nature. In Antwerp, Dutch is the default, but English is widely spoken. A few words show respect:
”Hallo” — hello
”Dank u” — thank you
”Alstublieft” — please
You might hear “Amai” (surprise) or “Ça va?” slipped into Dutch. Welcome to Belgium — we mix languages like we mix cultures.

The Antwerp mindset
Antwerp is confident, creative, and commercially sharp — but never flashy. Locals appreciate curiosity, good taste, and people who don’t try too hard. Be open, be respectful, and don’t underestimate the power of a good conversation over a good drink.
