Bart is a senior leader in data, AI, and financial services with more than 25 years of experience driving data strategy, regulatory transformation, and product innovation across the industry. He has a strong track record in leading large-scale, cross-functional programmes of more than 150 FTE, combining deep expertise in data management, analytics, and financial crime risk reporting with strong go-to-market acumen and stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining Projective Group, Bart held global leadership roles at SWIFT, where he led the organisation’s global data transformation programme. This included the delivery of a new enterprise data platform and the launch of data-powered services and innovation tracks in AI and ESG. He also defined and executed SWIFT’s community data strategy and product roadmap, overseeing a multi-million-euro portfolio of more than 30 data products. Bart played a key role in building and scaling several flagship data initiatives, including the SWIFT KYC Registry, which grew to more than 6,500 institutions worldwide, and SwiftRef, SWIFT’s global reference data portfolio, which gained industry recognition for its data quality. At Projective Group, Bart leads the Data Practice in Belgium, working closely with clients to translate strategic demand into practical data and AI solutions. He also delivers AI literacy programmes for senior leaders and currently directs data and AI initiatives within the insurance sector.
