Ben Verlinden, currently General Manager Policy Non Life Insurance at KBC Bank & Insurance, has built a career at the intersection of data science, risk mastery, and strategic innovation. With a Master’s degree in Banking & Finance from Ghent University and additional executive education in Big Data & Analytics (KU Leuven) and Leadership & Change (London School of Economics), he brings together deep technical expertise and a forward looking strategic mindset. Starting his career in 2008 as a Credit & ALM Risk Consultant, Ben quickly advanced into key roles in treasury and risk management first at Argenta, and later within the KBC Group. In 2021, he became Head of Actuarial Non Life & Reinsurance, where he laid the groundwork for data driven policy innovation. Today, Ben is a leader who seamlessly connects actuarial excellence, technological advancement, and customer centric value creation.
