Clara joined AWS in September 2020 and brings over 20 years of IT industry expertise to her role as Global Program Lead for AWS TalentBridge within the AWS Partner Organization, a position she has held since 2023. In this strategic role, Clara addresses the critical AWS technology skills gap by forging partnerships between AWS's global Partner Network and community-based skilling organizations. Her work focuses on three key areas: building sustainable talent pipelines for next-generation cloud professionals, expanding access to technology careers for underrepresented communities, and creating pathways for career advancement within the AWS network. Through these initiatives, Clara connects AWS Partners and Customers with the skilled workforce they need to drive innovation and growth. Clara's approach combines strategic program leadership with hands-on collaboration, working across regions to identify skills gaps, develop training pathways, and measure program impact. Her work directly supports AWS's commitment to training millions of people with cloud skills while advancing diversity and inclusion in the technology sector. Clara holds a BA in English from the University at Albany, State University of New York, and an MBA from Syracuse University, bringing a unique blend of communication expertise and business acumen to workforce development in the cloud computing space. Outside of work, Clara enjoys spending time with her family – namely her two grandchildren, playing tennis, skiing, sailing, taking long rides on her bicycle, reading, writing, and dreaming.
