Corjan Mol
Corjan Mol is a Dutch author, historical researcher, television presenter, and entrepreneur whose work sits at the intersection of history, storytelling, and emerging technology.
His fascination with hidden history began in the mid-1990s and developed into decades of independent research into medieval mysteries and lost narratives. This work led to his role as a historical researcher and on-screen contributor to History Channel’s global hit TV series The Curse of Oak Island for the last 8 years, broadcast in nearly 80 countries, as well as multiple related spin-off series.
As an author, Corjan wrote The Jerusalem Files, a North American bestseller published by Watkins / Penguin Random House. Building on this success, he is currently signed to develop an international historical mystery adventure series for children, blending history, storytelling, and modern technology, with the first book expected in 2027.
Alongside his creative work, Corjan has over two decades of experience as a transformation consultant and entrepreneur. As an early partner at the Projective Group, he helped scale the company from a small startup into a pan-European consultancy with more than 1,000 professionals, advising organizations on leadership, digital transformation, and the responsible use of AI.
In 2026, he began presenting Straten van Toen (Streets of the Past) on the History Channel, a pioneering, first-of-its-kind commercial television format led by artificial intelligence, digitally time-traveling to Dutch streets where history was made, produced with award-winning AI production house Particle6.
At Supernova Festival, Corjan shares how storytelling, curiosity, and technology can be combined to explore the future by re-examining the past.
