Filip Vancoillie has 20+ years of experience in water infrastructure management and leads the department of Asset and Process Management at De Watergroep. His team's mission? Bringing the organization to the next level through digital transformation! Filip’s team works at the crossroads of business and IT, helping to connect the dots when it comes to infrastructure and innovation. Filip is also heading De Watergroep’s Non-Revenue Water program, known as “Leakie” with the tag line "Every drop counts". This is a forward-looking strategic program focusing on reducing water losses in a network of 35 000 km mains length and 1,3 million service connections. By embracing innovation and involving everyone in the organization, the program is pushing the limits of what’s possible in modern asset management, all with the goal of reducing water losses efficiently. Filip is one of the driving forces behind the launch of an NRW ecosystem in cooperation with drinking water companies in Flanders bringing together European technology providers, researchers and water companies.
