I support Belgian startups and scale-ups in turning traction into sustainable, international growth. My focus: hands-on guidance, ecosystem leverage and cross-border expansion. At Agoria, the Belgian technology federation, I lead several strategic growth initiatives: • Scaleup Flanders – a flagship program with Vlerick Business School and Sirris, backed by VLAIO • Scaleup International (EFRO) – helping companies design and execute global growth strategies • Scale Brussels – strengthening the international ambitions of Brussels-based scale-ups with hub.brussels • FIT Corporate Venturing Challenges – connecting corporates and startups through open innovation programs with Startup Flanders (FIT) and Plug & Play I actively analyse Belgium’s tech landscape (funding rounds, sector trends, structural bottlenecks) to help position our ecosystem more competitively at European and global level. Previously, as Director of International Relations at Startups.be and Scale-Ups.eu, I led international “Go Global” missions to markets including the US, UK, China, India and Singapore, and coordinated European innovation projects such as Horizon 2020’s MyGateway and Interreg SPEED. My professional roots are in tech journalism. I started at De Tijd and later became coordinating editor of Data News, Belgium’s leading ICT magazine, covering emerging technologies, startups and digital policy. Bridging entrepreneurs, corporates and policymakers with one objective: helping Belgian tech companies scale beyond borders.
