Jan De Beurme obtained a degree in military and maritime sciences in 1988. In addition he obtained a degree in political sciences and a Master of Arts in Human Behaviour. In 2004, he graduated with honours from the Royal Higher Institute for Defence. From wing adjutant in 1993 to Vice-Admiral since 2023, Jan De Beurme has had a long and successful career. Today, he works as Vice-Admiral at CMB.TECH as Chief of Staff. His responsibilities include: building and maintaining relationships, engaging with government bodies, leading and monitoring strategic projects, ensuring strong coordination between teams and departments.
