With over two decades of experience in big tech, Mahir built a distinguished career that includes 16 years as an executive at Google. Prior to joining Google in 2009, he was at Oracle, where he led the European business development team for enterprise software sales. He is a passionate advocate for digital inclusion, dedicated to bridging the technology divide and making digital solutions accessible to a wider global audience. His notable achievements include spearheading the launch of ultra-affordable smartphones through strategic partnerships in Africa helping with more equitable access to crucial technology that enhanced people’s lives.

Mahir serves as a Senior Advisor, Frontier Tech, at Antares Ventures, actively contributing to and guiding investments in cutting-edge innovations. Additionally, Mahir holds various board roles and is an Advisor to Airbus' Executive Committee.
His extensive career journey has seen him operate across diverse international markets, including Singapore, Australia, Germany, Ireland, Turkey, and the UK.

Mahir holds an MSc. in Business Administration from the Technical University of Berlin and a BSc. in Economics from the University of Bonn, providing him with a robust foundation in business and economics that underpins his strategic vision in the technology and investment sectors.
