Manuel Mendigutía is Senior strategy adviser at the European Innovation Council (EIC), the 10BEUR European Commission's flagship programme dedicated to identifying, developing and scaling breakthrough technologies and game-changing innovations. Within the EIC, he drives strategic actions that foster collaboration between corporates and startups and enable European high-growth companies to expand successfully into global markets. In 2025, he led the EIC’s flagship report on corporate–startup collaboration, offering practical guidance and evidence-based recommendations on how large companies and fast-growing innovators can generate shared value through structured partnership models. At the Supernova Summit, he will present key insights from this publication and reflect on how Europe can reinforce its deep-tech ecosystem through stronger market connectivity and more effective corporate-startup business creation.
