Marie Outtier is an entrepreneur, investor, and author with a proven track record in tech across the UK, the US, and France. She co-founded aiden.ai, one of the first AI copilots for marketers, which was acquired by Twitter in 2019. She then served as Director of Product at Twitter in London and California, stepping down in 2022 following Elon Musk’s takeover.

Since returning to France in 2023, Marie has become one of Europe’s most active female angel investors, backing over 30 startups- over 50% of which are led by female founders. She also served as a Venture Partner at First Minute Capital and Cherry Ventures, and was a Scout for Accel.

In 2025, she published EXIT, a candid book for first-time founders that blends personal memoir with startup field guide-from building and scaling a company to selling it (and becoming a parent along the way).
Marie is now a General Partner at OVNI Capital, a €60M early-stage fund backing deeptech founders shaping the next global standards in AI, robotics, space, and infrastructure. She also supports Surfrider Foundation Europe, an NGO protecting oceans and waterways around the world.
