Previously working for the Building materials industry, the founder Luc Plancke was confronted by multiple different request for environmental data coming from different national markets supplied by his previous employer. As a wintered sustainability specialist (C2C, LCA & EPD) he reached out to Vito to develop a customized LCA tool for dummies aligned to different standards demanded by different EU countries. Hence the product was born, enabling product environmental footprint calculations produced in different factories, exported and applied in different countries in accordance to different Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) program guidelines. With the live MVP, the spin-off ENPERAS followed shortly mid 2021 aided by a financial investment from BAN Flanders. Since then hundreds product EPDs  have been certified  and published in official programs yielded in Sweden, France, The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and the UK. The team grew up to 12 staff including our CTO Philippe Ploegaert, and two PhD LCA specialists An Janssen and Suren Rangaraju. We serve more then 100 customers and have reduced our internal process lead times by 3, enabling to replace our initial split consultancy vs SAAS sales proposal into a SAAS solution. To attract new customers we organise webinars on LCA and EPDs that fills a stable sales pipeline and we organise an annual LCA community event, inviting our customers to take the stage with their testimonials like Ideal Standard International, Aliplast, Duco, Arcelormittal, Carpenter, Vandersanden, Nelissen, Steinzeug-Keramo, Interalu, Kaneka, Recticel, Orac, Holcim, Niko, Ebema, Stelrad, Renson, Jaga…. At the customer our QUADRANT LCA SAAS tool replaces an inhouse LCA specialist and reduces the cost by 5.
